CALATHEA PLANT

The Calathea is a popular indoor plant. It is often used in homes and offices for decoration. It is a type of plant that prefers indirect lighting, which means makes it perfect for indoor usage and office buildings. Calathea leaves are glossy, light green leaves decorated with olive green patterns and burgundy. 

Position: Grows best in a humid position with bright, indirect sunlight.

Soil: Prefers open, rich, tree draining soil.

Watering: Keep moist but not wet.

Fertilising: Apply half strength liquid fertiliser regularly during spring and summer.

Grow tips: Mist regularly in dry conditions. Prune off dead leaves.
